About the Venue
What types of events can The Rooftop Host?
We host weddings, receptions, corporate events, holiday parties, galas, showers, private celebrations, business luncheons, presentations, and company offsites.
How many guests can the venue accommodate?
Setting One includes all rooms and amenities at the venue, including the Overlook Room, the Skylight Room, The Courtyard, and supporting areas. Setting One allows up to 200 guests for a seated dinner, around 700 for a flowing reception, or 300 guests for a presentation-style event.
Setting Two excludes The Overlook room and allows up to 80 guests for a seated dinner or around 300 for a flowing reception.
What amenities are included?
All rentals include tables, chairs, floor-length linens, setup and takedown before and after the event, and a venue coordinator on-site during your rental time.
Booking and Payments
How do I reserve my date?
Book a tour here to visit the venue and inquire about available dates. To reserve your date, a signed contract and security deposit are required.
When is the remaining balance due?
The remaining balance is due 30 days before your event. If payment is not received by that point, the event may be cancelled and the deposit retained.
Is my deposit refundable?
The deposit is nonrefundable until after the event. If there is no damage, excessive cleaning, or late departure, it will be refunded within 10-15 business days.
What if I need to cancel?
All cancellations forfeit the deposit. Cancellations made within 30 days of the event forfeit the full rental fee and deposit.
Can I move my event date?
Yes. A one-time transfer may be made more than 30 days before your event for a fee.
Vendors
Can I bring my own vendors?
Of course! You may use your own caterer, florist, planner, or other vendors as long as they are licensed and insured. The Rooftop is always happy to provide recommendations. The only required vendor is when a client will have alcohol at an event (see “Food and Alcohol” section).
When do I need to finalize vendor details?
A final planning meeting is held 30 days before your event. The Rooftop team will contact clients to schedule this walkthrough. During the walkthrough, layouts and vendor lists will be finalized.
Food and Alcohol
Can we serve alcohol at our event?
Yes. All alcohol service must go through COPA bar service. An alcohol fee applies in addition to COPA’s bartending expenses and the cost of alcohol.
Are there restrictions on alcohol service?
Yes. No shots or straight liquor are allowed. Alcohol service must end 90 minutes before the event ends. Service cannot exceed five hours and must be in compliance with all Utah liquor laws.
Can The Rooftop stop alcohol service or end the event?
Yes. The Rooftop reserves the right to end service and/or the event if alcohol policies are violated.

How can I schedule a tour or check dates?

Is The Rooftop Lehi a smoke-free venue?
Yes. The Rooftop is a smoke-free, vape-free, and drug-free event space.
Planning and Setup
What are the standard rental hours?
4 pm to 11 pm for weddings; all-day wedding rentals are 11 am to 11 pm.
Standard rental hours vary depending on the event type and needs.
Can I access the venue early to set up or drop off?
Setup and teardown must occur within the reserved rental time. Additional rental time may be purchased but is dependent on availability.
What happens if my event runs late?
Overtime is billed at $150 per half hour past the contracted rental time. After one hour past the contracted end time, the full deposit will be forfeited.
Who helps manage my event?
A venue coordinator will be on-site during your rental to oversee setup, logistics, and general venue support. However, the coordinator will not be responsible for planning, emcee services, DJ services, catering services, and other non-venue related services. Guests and events requiring these services should contract with outside vendors, etc.
When should vendors arrive?
Vendors may arrive at the start of your contracted time. Early access requires an all-day rental or additional rental time.
Decor and Setup
Can I bring my own decorations?
Yes. You may bring decor as long as it does not damage surfaces. No tacking, taping, or nailing is allowed.
Are candles allowed?
Candles are allowed only if the flame is fully enclosed in glass.
Can I use confetti, petals, fog machines, or sparklers?
Confetti, petals, rice, and streamers are not allowed. Sparklers are permitted only in the parking lot. Cold sparklers are permitted, but CO2 canons and fog machines will unfortunately set off the building fire sprinklers. CO2 canons and fog machines may be used in the parking lot.
Do I need to clean up after my event?
The Rooftop team handles setup and takedown of venue items. Clients must remove personal items and decor by the end of the rental period.
Day of my Event
When can I access the venue?
Access begins at the start of your rental time. Early entry is not permitted unless arranged via additional rental time or an all-day rental.
What should I expect from the venue coordinator?
Your coordinator ensures the venue is ready, oversees logistics, and helps vendors access the space.
Who manages the schedule and setup?
Clients or the client’s event planner should manage your event timeline. The Rooftop staff oversees venue operations and assists with layout needs.
What time should music end?
All outdoor music must stop by 10 pm to comply with city ordinances.
What are the courtyard rules?
Guests may not sit, stand, or dance on courtyard walls. Food or decor may not be placed on walls. Smoking and vaping aren’t allowed in the courtyard. Children must be supervised at all times.
Can guests use the Golf Lounge?
The golf lounge is a wonderful amenity which can be included in an event rental for a small fee. The Golf Lounge is generally limited to the wedding party and family (not all wedding guests) to limit the risk of damage to the room and/or equipment.
