Using every space at The Rooftop: Ceremony, dinner, dancing & more

When you book a venue with both indoor and outdoor spaces, your wedding day becomes incredibly flexible. At The Rooftop Lehi, couples love that they can design their celebration to fit the season, guest count, and overall vibe—without being locked into a rigid layout.

Some couples host a Courtyard wedding ceremony followed by an indoor dinner. Others hold an open-air reception after a temple sealing. And some use the entire space to flow from one experience to the next.

Here’s how couples are using The Rooftop’s flexible layout to create seamless, stylish wedding days—plus ideas for how to make each space work for you.

The Rooftop Courtyard: Open-air views + scenic magic

Our open-air terrace is the heart of the venue—and one of the reasons so many couples fall in love with The Rooftop.

This space is perfect for:

  • Ceremonies with a view

  • Cocktail hours and mingling

  • First dances under the bistro lights

With clean lines and mountain views, the Courtyard is modern without needing much décor. It’s especially popular in spring through fall, but even cooler-weather couples love the early golden hour lighting and photo ops with the snowcapped mountains.

The Overlook Room: Dinner, dancing, and all the reception moments

The Overlook Room is our largest indoor space, and it’s where most receptions take shape. If you’re planning a sit-down dinner, this is your ideal setup.

Couples love the Overlook Room for:

  • Dinner service or buffets

  • Receiving lines and speeches

  • First dances and open dancing

  • A reliable backup plan for weather

Its clean, modern finishes and neutral color palette make it easy to personalize, while still looking polished on its own. There’s ample space for round tables, a head table, buffet setup, and a dance floor—all in one room. It also connects easily to the Courtyard, allowing your event to flow indoors and out without feeling segmented.

The Skylight Room: A bright, flexible space with endless possibilities

Don’t underestimate this versatile space—it’s one of our favorite hidden gems. With floor-to-ceiling windows and a clean, modern design, the Skylight Room adds style and flexibility to your wedding layout.

Couples often use it for:

  • The start of the ceremony aisle, leading into the Courtyard

  • Dinner seating for medium-size groups, especially when paired with the Courtyard

  • A kid-friendly game room or lounge for guests who want a quieter space

For weddings with more intimate guest counts, the Skylight Room is a beautiful spot to host your full dinner and toasts. It also works well as a soft-seating area or dessert lounge while the dance floor heats up in the Overlook or outside.
